I can definitely look into it when that time roll's around Doug.

A Shibata eh... Have you run a Shibata before Doug?
Cheers- diggin' my Blue. Ran a Shibata on my last turntable and loved it, Ben. Had a chance to listen to an MP500 recently, the sound and price are so very tempting.

Cool Ron, Glad you received the tapes. I know you had been looking for a few of those to try out taping again. I put the call out on TH, and Steven promptly replied. I still have yet to settle up with Steven on those, but will be very shortly. Steven suggested shipping them directly as initially I had planned on sending them with some vinyl I have for you.

My mind is already on what deck I have to try recording with. I sold Kelly my Nakamichi BX300 last year, that was my main recording deck. I have a few JVC's and SOny's here, have to look and I will ask for a recommendation as which would be best

Thanks Ben you rock!!! I still hope to find some sealed original early 80s SA-X 90s like this

While there might be some of that example still kickin around sealed, I wouldnt expect to find them on the cheap. I havent had the taping urge too much lately. But do enjoy a good home made tape, weather it be a mix or a recorded album.

I imagine you are right about them not being cheap but I had great luck with them. Hell it would be just nice to have just one sealed just to say I have one LMAO!!!

The ones I like? I don't remember ever using the red bottom stripe versions though I remember them vaguely. That date sounds about right though since I was using them from 1982-1984

Also, if someone comes across the Miles Davis boxset and wants to trade for rarer Metal, Rock, sealed lps or whatever, PM me. That and the Mule were mandatory of this RSD. Mule's are covered thankfully

It has been a while since I last looked at the prices of NOS tape on eBay, but I suspect Ben is right.

Even so, a really nice type II cassette.

Was also down at Bluestreak today, Tim called last night and an album I ordered had come in. Sadly its not my ACDC Rock Or Bust, but hopefully that will be in next week.

Black Label Society, Stronger Than Death, and The Blessed Hellride.

I had ordered Stronger Than, and he had also brought in Hellride, which I couldnt leave there. Didnt have enough cash on me for both, so Tim marked it down in the book and gave it to me anyways. Got a couple more coming in too, 1919 Eternal, and Hangover Music Vol IV. For some reason they didnt come with this batch.

A few weeks ago Tim gave me the back on black 2014 catalog. I had noticed they had all the BLS in it so I asked him to get them for me. Not sure why but there are a couple different version and some are a fair bit more pricey. I just went for the cheaper ones lol.
