You heard Redeemer yet Ron? I f'n love it. So heavy, and Rob's screams on it are great. I hope to see the vinyl make its way around these parts at some point. The CD sounds good too though.

Still waiting for my Ace Frehley - Space Invader to come in. There must be some sort of delay with it somewhere. Tim's supplier is still showing no stock online for it. This is also a great album, if anyone hasnt heard it yet.
I heard some demos awhile back before it was released, I know Ritchie from one of my guitar boards and he sent me some tracks. I bought the lp to put with my sealed Judas Priest discography but plan to get the cd at some point. Good stuff, Ritchie blends good with Glenn. Much better then Nostradamus

Good gawd!!!... Ritchie rips shit.
Yes he does, he plays a lot like I do so I feel a close kinship to his style. He can really flame but the vid I posted was just a straight jam, mostly pentatonic forms which are very easy to play. The phrasing is where it gets hard and not overdoing the Zakk pinch hamonics LOL. I had to break myself of that habit and still slip up a bit. They are just so wicked cool but only in dropped tunings

Bob Seger - Ride Out, and Frozen Soundtrack - The Songs from HMV here in PTBO. Kiss Alive III from HMV Georgian Place, Barrie. Dio, and Lets Get Rocked single from BJ's, Barrie. Not sure this is the type of BJ's Nav is thinking of but whatever. Those are the last 2 weeks grabs.

Well, these were both mail order, but I thought some folks may enjoy these interesting cassettes I just got delivered.

First up is a 6 cassette collection. Right, 6 tapes, in a cassette case like none I've seen before. The group is Motion Sickness of Time Travel, mostly synth, mostly laid back, floating sounds. They released CDr versions of a new piece each month for 12 months and now at the end, collected them all onto each side of a cassette. Tapes are 110 minute length chromes and sound quite good.

Motion Sickness of Time Travel: Ballades

And, now another monster length tape, albeit only a single. This one has a total playing time of 125 minutes of experimental electronic goodness with beats fluttering in and out of the mix and processed guitar and other instruments. You can actually download a digital version for free on their Bandcamp page.

Ben, I still have not bothered picking up a copy of KISS - Alive III yet, how is it? I am still waiting for an affordable lp copies of Psycho Circus or Sonic Boom which are a bigger priority. Is yours white vinyl?

Very cool, Dave! Glad to see you as it's been a while since we've been lurking at the same time and hope all is well.

This particular Kiss Alive III is a repro Ron. Not white vinyl. They released the whole catalog not that long ago. While there arent many titles I would buy due to having originals it was nice to be able to get my hands on Revenge and Alive III. Psycho Circus is one that is on my list as well.

Found this one at HMV today.

LMK what you think of it. I think Myles Kennedy is a poser wannabe Axel but I am willing to give the lp a chance. I saw that Myles Kennedy/Slash interview on TV and sort of took a dislike to him. Not sure why

I liked Myles when he did those couple songs on the first album. When they became Slash Feat, Myles and the Conspirators, I was less impressed by the sound of the second album. That said, I like him in small doses. I find his vocals become tiring after a while. I had heard this album, once before buying it and thought it was a fair bit better than apocalyptic love. Havent opened the vinyl yet though.

Had a voice mail on the phone last night. My Ace album finally came in. Stopped into bluestreak today to pick it up and came home with some extra goodies.

I didnt have enough cash on me for the S/T Runaways album(cash only at his store). He said he'd set it aside for me. Then he gave me the album and said hey, give me the cash next time your in. Ill write it down in the book. I was almost stunned. Not very often does a store let you take merch without purchasing.

I really like that store. Doods always good to me.
