what are you listening to?

Nice! You may know them as The Darlings from the Andy Griffith show.
150g vinyl, yet- thick and flat from 1969. Original recording from 1963.View attachment 69691

I have that album as well but I think mine is a 1963 copy. Difference of catalogue number and no mention of it being stereo. But the label does say "Outstanding High Fidelity Recordings".

It was them appearing on the Andy Griffith Show that made me interested.

Yours is the original first release. They were mono and a buck less expensive.

Andy Griffith Show: same here.

lots of good memories for me....
First house I ever bought was in Lurton AR. Way out in Ozark National Forest, on the main ridge of the Boston MTNs. Both of my son's grew up there.
Lurton is under the "k" of "Black" on that album cover. Yup, good memories!

Went to WarMalt for prescription refills, found these:

Not a big fan of "greatest hits" compilations, but this one had all the right songs. White plastic, to boot! A Rhino RM/RE.

I'm not the biggest Queen fan, but I do like this one. Impressive pedigree- Bob Ludwig master, Miles Showell half-speed lacquer. Such impressive names on a WarMalt exclusive! And blue plastic, too!

Are they a deal at Walmart? I will have to check this section out the next time I am in.

$23.97 for Doors, $26.97 for Queen. Not the best deal in town, but I was there and they were in front of me so I bit the hook. You can find cheaper on Discogs or Ebay, but after shipping you pay more.

Our local Wally mart has hundreds of remastered classic rock vinyl around the mid twenty price tag each. Just down the aisle they have the original CDs for 5 bucks

I have around a thousand original lp's and 2 turntables. One is MM and the other is MC. I really like my high definition streamer playing MQA quality music the best
