One of the forgotten and rarely-used formats, but there are a few of us who still like to record a mix tape to Elcaset. This is one I received from a friend in the UK.






An enjoyable mix that is nicely-recorded.

Yes he was. He opened for Clapton, who was great as expected. Guest artist later in the evening was Marcus King, amazing as well.

Love the Secret Sisters.

I had them open my season 10 years ago. Their dad's bluegrass band is no slouch, either. I was gonna do a double bill with his band and the Secrets before I got shut down. They still live down in Muscle Shoals. Dad is the GE nuclear rep for Browns Ferry NP, so we had lots to talk about the night they did appear at UTC.

Yes, the Akai CR-81D is a very good 8-track player/recorder. Mine came with the wired remote control channel selector.
