what are you listening to?

Talking Heads is some well engineered stuff....hadn't really listened to them on the K's....sounds pretty good...

... and if you're not making time to listen to the music ... then what's the point having all the groovy gear?

Well, if I move the pile of old Kenwood stuff too quickly, it upsets the earth's axial rotation slightly.

Did you feel the earthquake in Florida the other day? Yeah, I moved the KA-9100...

(Phil Collins at his best....)

Tony: That mix tape goes back more than six years ago. I'm happy to continue where we left off and look forward to your mix tapes.

I still have a few videos of your 2013 progressive rock mix tape playing in my Sony TC-K950ES.

Looking back at that adventure, I had forgotten how many months I put into that tape. That one evolved over a period of 1 year.

Let's see if I can dig up a few photos of your mix tape from 2013, Tony. You certainly picked a premiere cassette.

Maxell MX !

I call that a much overlooked sleeper tape. Don't recall many discussions about that vintage, but perhaps I missed em.
Every bit as magically deep in recording capability as a Vertex, but at a fraction of the cost. Even today.
And a damned quiet and smooth running shell.

Excellent tape. My Sony's love that formula... need to throw one in the Nak soon.

Here's a treat. This would be a track from the Sonic Mayhem side of your mix tape:
