with David Lindley. I read where Light In The Attic will issue unreleased material from the River sessions - The Other Side Of The River, well deserved. the lead-off track, Dean, is a terrific jam.

Humble Pie - Rock On
(1971, A&M) Monarch symbol in the deadwax

gatefold cover. Might be my favorite Humble Pie record. last record with Peter Frampton.

Jane - Jefferson Starship (FM)

Spinning my B-Day music tonite.

Nice story about the Supertramp. Stuwee had played it for Lee during his visit. Remarked at how great the album was. I hadn't heard the album in thirty years, I knew I did not have it in my collection so last Saturday I spent the afternoon looking for a copy...no luck. My best bud comes over Sat night and brings me a little present....ST and Ry! Couldn't believe it! He had no knowledge of my quest, just thought I'd like it. Another quirk...while perusing for ST I had come across the RY album, had it in my hand but decided to leave it to further search....strange....

Supertramp
Crime Of The Century

Ry Cooder and the Chicken Skin Band
Live In Hamburg 1977

Stephen had me listen to some Satchmo, Count Bassie, and some other Jazz I couldn't name. Along with the complete Crime of the Century listen. And then Craig had us listening to-----GASP...Disco.......

I have not heard that particular Humble Pie album...

worth a listen - Spotify or youtube are good places to preview, but best experienced at 33 RPMs :happy3:
