Thoughts on the Seger album?
Picked this up on Cd. I've read few bad reviews about Vinyl quality lately including this one. The cd sounds
nice on my gear.
I really liked his pick of cover songs he included with his own material. All were selected from a list 70 titles to put
this album together. Some great Nashville players on here and his old back-up girls and the Detroit Horns.
Seger rocks. Great album

Zappa/Beefheart - Bongo Fury
(1975, Discreet) -1A / -1B KENDUN in the deadwax

recycled pictures. I normally run out of interest in Zappa after a couple of tracks but not here with Captain Beefheart in the house. recorded live in Austin, 1975.

Man - Back Into The Future
(1973, United Artists) AB in the deadwax, mastered by Al Brown

recycled pictures, listening to sides 3/4 where they stretch out the progressive/psychedelic material. Nice.

Bonnie Raitt - s/t
(1971, Warner Bros) '73 issue on the Burbank palm trees label

debut from a 21 year old Bonne Raitt. Includes a beautiful cover of a great song by Paul Seibel - Any Day Woman. Raitt covered another great Seibel song - Louise - in a later record.
