Snagged a CD on the Green Linnet label today - I'll buy most anything on that label. It's by Manus McGuire, and titled Saffron and Blue. Listening now - basic Celtic fiddling, well recorded. Nice, and it was sealed when I found it, always a plus.

Also today, in the mail, from that auction site, Fully Rigged, by Aly Bain and Ale Moller, on the Northside label. The jewel case was beat up on arrival, but the papers and disc were fine - no biggie, as I keep spares on hand. It will be next on the player.

No, I didn't hear that, and I don't think they need to. He was talking about retiring. It's the 3rd time in 2 years that they've torn up the contract and started over. The rumor is that it's a one year deal, instead of $7 million, he'll take home $13 million next year. Good move by the Seahawks, he's a different cat but very positive and loved by the team. Did you see Earl Thomas come running down the sideline at the end of the touchdown run in the clip I linked? The whole team goes beast mode around him.
