He's 28 and has been in the league for 7 seasons - for a running back that means the clock is running down and he takes a lot of punishment, had back issues this season. Plus like I said he's a very different cat, might just walk away from football at any time. Some of these guys are physical basket-cases after their NFL days are done.

Someone had a good description of his running style - grace and violence. If you try to overpower him, he will dance right past you. and if you try to sit back and stop him from juking you, he will just run over you. similar to Earl Campbell if you remember him.

$16 and some change ...

For 16 bucks???!!! 16 American bucks? That's a steal!

PG is probably my least favorite Zep album, In Through the Out Door is nearly a tie - so I rolled the dice and put it in my Amazoo wish-list
and waited for the price to drop. I'll also mention that out of all the newly remastered releases, it sounds the flattest of the bunch.
I'm sticking to LZ III being the must have thus far. Can't wait for Presence either.
I bought LZ III during the height of summer of last year- and never played the "original" disc until last night. Yeah- full of surprises, this album! The opening of Friends with the room ambience sounded like the people were actually in the room- never heard it as clear. The organ in Since I've Been Loving You seemed to have more depth than I've ever heard before, too. Can't agree with you more about LZ III- sounds fantastic.

Regardless of what you say about PG, it's probably going to be the cleanest possible version you can get. I always thought the harmonica on Custard Pie was a bit harsh and could have been toned back a little. But... Kashmir! In My Time of Dying! And clean new vinyl! Despite it sounding thin, I love those songs too much! I never cared too much for the second disc in the set...

I saw the Jimmy Page interview about the remasters on YouTube. The ol' sod looks like he had more heroin in his blood than hemoglobin...

Ben, I used to have Sirens with the ship cover on Par Records. It was good but not "keeper" good to me. I do have the Pretty Maids 1st album still sealed on Par Records which IS a keeper. I have an open copy also and another copy that has a flaw to the record (looks like a BB indent)
