what are you listening to?

Another from that Producer's collection. Albert Cummings - True to Yourself and it's autographed! Dude shreds on guitar and has a great voice

Jason, you would dig this dude, Come Up for Air sounds like it could have been a killer Skynyrd tune if they had done it

- on blu-ray audio -

anyone else into the latest from Tom Petty, Hypnotic Eye? for a clean recording, this is up there with the best of them, and by the third listen the album has really grown on me. the surround mix is the way to really hear the album imo, but it doesnt take over the music, rather, it makes you take more notice of the music. for sound quality, this exceeds anything else i've heard this year.

That CRB album is great. I have the vinyl. Came with a 7" single. I really like these guys. Real chill music.

If this doesn't sound like a Dead album, huh? It's like they dug up Jerry and Brent to write and play on this one.

All 3 of the CRB albums sound that way. Dont know much dead stuff, but from what ive heard they are similar sounding. I thought I heard somewhere that one of the doods from the Dead produced it.

You might like some of the Grateful Dead's music if the CRB works for you. Feels a bit like The Band, too.

Have you recently watch the classic film, "Joe Dirt"? I just noticed your siggy addition.

Yeah I'm not a dead fan and I seen them on the first lp in Chicago and was like ok I'm at a dead show lol. It was identical soundin. The newest one I didn't think was as deadish. It's a bit diff IMO
do you guys have the hardworking Americans lp yet??

Thats a hard statement to put the band and the dead together lmao. The band was the shit IMO . Love them. Chris has always covered cool songs live. Ppl like the band, traffic,Delaney and Bonnie, joe cocker a lot of cool stuff.

Haven't heard any HA yet but have been a fan of Dave School's for a while and may have to give them a listen.

It's a good lineup! Todd snider, Dave schools ,Duane trucks, Neal cassel(CRB guitar player) and great American taxi's keyboard player chad ?. Can't remember his name ATM. Good straight rock lp. Nothing jammy or spacey. Just rock n roll

I saw them perform once in Minneapolis, musicians + dancers. The guy playing the hurdy-gurdy was fascinating, as I had never seen one before. I'm starting to populate my hard drive with tunes, now that we're more settled in, and learning how to burn a CD.
