I'm the Red Knight, by grant of the Black
Well, I loaded two albums by Leo Kottke, and two songs by him on another album, into an iTunes playlist. Burned it at 1X speed, and have it playing on the main system. As Lee says, "Dayam!" That burn sounds good!!

(1968, Apple) late 70's Capitol Purple label; MASTERED BY CAPITOL in the deadwax

These 70's purple label pressings are terrific ... even on white vinyl.

Chicago Transit Authority on the Garrard Lab 80 and the Pro 700. I broke the nail on the Stanton 681EEE it was wearing (not a D6800EEE, it was a good generic D6807a), so its back to the old Empire 66E/X for the moment until I fetch a spare nail out of the stash upstairs.

The Beatles - Rubber Soul
(1965, Capitol) MONO

nice. Paul's bass playing is prominent and thumping in the mono mix especially in tracks like You Won't See Me.
