what are you listening to?

Maybe a Little strange but I just spent the last Two hours Listening to Russian Chants,,,,Brings back Fond memories and more than a few tears

I listen to music sometimes that very personal, that I find emotionally moving, that I usually play when no one else is around. I admit I'm a bit curious about what this is. Is it like gregorian chants?

Getting excited for next month's concert....

I guess it's time for me to start exploring all the 70's music I've missed. I haven't been much of a rocker since high school (late 80's). My 70's experience was on the radio. Most of that I don't miss though lol.
To me the 60s were great in it's own rights. You ask most guitar players which music influenced them. They will say Blues. I do like this CD. Thanks Chloba. Very nice.

Glad you liked it. I really like the last cut. It's funny, I've never been too blown away by that album but I dug it out a while ago and it was better than I remembered.

Mandy Barnett-"Sweet Dreams" 2011 Opry Music Records cd
Suzy Bogguss-"Swing" 2003 Compadre Records ced

...Mandy does an album of Patsy Cline covers! What a voice. She should be a huge star!!! Suzy turns in a album of jazzy swing. It's produced by Ray Benson (of Asleep At The Wheel). Another good one. Fast Forward should check these both out. I know he's a fan of female vocalists.

Listened to some shpongle, had to see what it is. Cool! I like!
Joe: I played some of Shpongle's early albums the other night. I'm getting in the groove for recording some select Shpongle tunes for the "Twisted Records" Traveling Tape.

Nando.

About to play some Shpongle to test the Spec. Care to guess which one Nando??
