Not down on your speaks, just saying different rooms need different speakers, and some work better with different amps/ receivers than others. I have 5 different types of speakers to go with three different receivers and three different amplifiers and that's just in the living room.And my Cornscalla's were ported and were some of the best sounding speakers I have ever owned.
Your room and speaker placement are probably the biggest factor.
Hooked up the Epicures, that made all the difference in the world. What a pain in the ass. If the ol lady see's this mess Covid is the least of my worries.
It now sounds fricken awesome. I better finish my 400 or I'll be musicless AGAIN

Weird, off-topic, but that wall paneling looks really nice.
... and if your room is too problematic, just use brute force.
Just turn it up to 11.
