Yeah before abb . Gregg and Duane's first band was called the Allman joys lol that was there bar band very young. Then they teamed up with Pete Carr and johnny sandlin and formed hourglass. They toured for a bit put out a couple pop 60's lps. Then johnny sandlin decided to go work as a producer/player for Capricorn records and Pete Carr followed so Duane took the gig at muscle shoals until Capricorn got going then abb got together. Look up the second coming... That was dickey betts butch trucks and berry Oakley. So those 2 band formed abb and jamoie came from Wilson pickets touring band. Jacksonville Florida all in 67and 68 had blackfoot,allman joys,second coming,noble five/my backyard/one percent were all skynyrd. Playing parks for free and dance halls.it would have been awesome!

another good band APB(artimus Pyle band) SKYNYRDs drummers solo project. They did 2 lp's in like 80 and 81. Something like that. Had a chick singer on some. First lp is awesome 2nd is ok
