I let the "pair-o-Ones" stretch their legs last night on a lot of Alan Parsons.
The kinda setup I have now really compliments Alans well mixed and engineered stuff....
" Try Anything Once " was especially mesmerizing....
Still in awe of the whole idea of fhe Model Ones...you did incredible work Joe, and everyone who sees them here are suitably amazed.

Home today.. Jan's birthday.

Happy Birthday To Jani !!! :)

Happy Birthday Jani...

Lee take Jani someplace nice tonight.

I did Joe, her choice....a hell of a woman there.... she has endured in a lot of oilfield hell in a humorous and stoic fashion...

I put the Model One through it’s paces with these two gems. Wow !!!
I bought both LP’s when I was in college, early 70’s.
They are both favorites in the collection. The Miles Davis LP is a classic
that features many great musicians and is just a pleasure to listen to. It is a great
album to introduce someone to “Cool Jazz”. The Sonny Rollins LP
is an amazing LP, booming bass, and a soundstage that is as good as it gets.
This is a Rudy van Gelder recording and is one of his best.

Miles Davis – Birth Of The Cool
Capitol Records T-762 Mono
First Pressing Feb. 1957
Note Turquoise Labels – “Long Playing” Notation
Recorded – Jan. and April 1949 / March 1950
Marque Recording – Cool Jazz era.

Sonny Rollins – Newks Time
Blue Note BST-84001 Stereo
First Stereo Release – 1966
