what are you listening to?

Here we go again. XPN.org is playing the 60s today starting now, midnight July 4, EDT, 70s starting at noon then 80s and 90s to finish the weekend somehow. Gotta listen more for the exact timetable.

Started with Santana Evil Ways, good start, we’ll see where it goes.

I quite agree. I lost interest in Pink Floyd after Meddle. I was given DSOTM and The Wall as presents but only played them if someone visiting me wanted to hear them.

Other than it's existence, I knew nothing about Obscured by Clouds until a couple of years ago when I found a copy, flipping through a box of records at a yard sale. I liked it much more than I thought I would. It seemed like a departure from what I was expectng, so kind of refreshing.
 
Cirrus Minor from More is probably my favorite PF tune. Yeah, it's simple and not much to it, but my imagination paints a rich picture when I hear it.
DSOTM is interesting from a technological standpoint, I do have two very good copies, one still has the included poster or posters, can't remember.
Anything later, I can stream, but have very little interest in.
 
The '80s since midnight until midnight then the 90s. Hearing some stuff I know and well the grunge is showing up. Lots more that I don't know but lots that I have heard of.
