Yes, the Akai CR-81D is a very good 8-track player/recorder. Mine came with the wired remote control channel selector.

New build, all new materials, goes easier that way. Picked up two - 8 fin hulks cheap in Rhode Island and am slowly turning them from junk into gold.

i got the same way in the computer business.....it eventually got to where i did nothing with computers...i ended up taking care of crap others did not take care of....very frustrating....
