The Official Reel To Reel 'Porn" Thread

Ron: I haven't seen that picture before. What a collection of Sony R2R decks!

Nando.

Ron: I don't often see an RT-701/707 in a wood cabinet. Like the CT-F700, too. You have no shortage of open-reel decks to use.

The A2300SD I've owned from new. The TR-3000 I just got, it's essentially a NOS machine. The Revox A77 I've had since 2013 and it's awaiting a full electronic component rebuild.

I'm viewing this thread for the first time since my last post reminded me of Larry and the Pioneer 1020 still sitting in my laundry room packed up still waitng for the shipping label, it had a worn record Head(I think) and he thought he could either repair it,find a donor or used it for parts,I don't remember

Thats how I got my old man's 1011L running again. Carried that pig around for years knowing it couldnt be used in hopes one day I'd get it going again. Been in use for a few years now.

Almost all of the Pioneer gear is now gone from my collection except for the SX-1080. I still have about 30 pieces of gear to get rid of. A mixture of Marantz, Sony & Pioneer. I'm probably going to donate it to the Church Thrift Store. I don't want to mess with packing and shipping. That's the easy way to get rid of it.
