The K-Horns are coming ! The K-Horns are coming !!!!

Those resistors made a hell of a difference.... been pushing things pretty hard....as hard as you can with a 400.....and they hae never sounded better...still dialing in the autotransformer setting...

I think I may have had the woofer leads reversed coming out of the right cabinet. When installing the replacement woofs I know I had them routed right this time but I didn't pay attention when i took it apart. I've never had bass like I have now. I can vibrate the eyeballs at about 60% of what it used to take.....jeez....these things are incredible..

I got the horns together.... Damn... These things are bad ass looking

Those particular drivers were used in crowd control experiments in a california lab....

They had to cover their ears. Those can achieve 145db at the right frequency..they also showed up with blown diaphrams....someone tested to destruction...diaphrams are 237.50 each, delivered...

Those horns look like brutality in a box. Slayer - Reign in Blood should be your first listen and Mach 3 to test. Looking great Brother!!!

I got some good 12 guage speaker wire and I decided to mount the x-overs on rubber

I like the darker stain on the cabinets. You'll probably find the colour will make them look even larger.

Nando.

So, Lee.....

What is the difference in Klipsch Cornerhorn cabinets, and the SpeakerLab cabinet? Do they have the same tuning frequency? The same internal volume? What are the differences? Is one "better" than the other?

I still am shaking my head trying to figure out how a big woofer mounted in an airtight box works...The front wave and the back wave are both, apparently sealed in a cabinet. What am I missing here?
