Got a 700 build going for none other than our long standing Ksrigg aka Sutton. This one is getting the full treatment, as we're starting with just the meters, transformer, and the typical odds n ends you'd need to save from the carcass. Speaking of the carcass, this one was .. interesting. :toothy8:

As they said in LOTR, the forges of Isengard are lit anew.. lol!

I move them to the xformer side for DC to send across the "pond" instead of two AC lines. I've heard to move the 10 uF with them but I haven't had a problem keeping it on the DCP board.

Why am I the last to know? I like keeping AC over where it should be. Now, if we could move the fuse and the Input power too..... Hmmmmm
 
Jer, I got 2 chassis' here which are nasty too. Bent in the middle and the ears are tearing off.... I had to use a couple of Joe's.
 
Should show a pic of the meters. They are the other fugly improvised item, in addition to the power switch. Bill made this 700b a real hybrid..
 
Man I got all that packed up and ready to send back to ya, Sutt.

ps.. hmmm.. you know I might have a problem adjusting the bias on this one LOL.. (big hint..)
