That was the Before pic er. Always do that just because. It was one of the resistors that has to go anyway. I just have no idea how to order what size. are they all 1/8 watt, 1/4 watt?????

Hmmm... I'd go with the web selector app on either Mouser or Digikey first, then work your way down to the SMT resistors and compare physical dimensions to what's on the datasheets. I'm guessing that they're probably 1/10 watts (seems the majority are), but the best way is to browse through the pages and compare physical dimensions on 'em first. The mounting technic appears to be the same i.e. tiny square metal strips on either side, that you just flow a tiny bit of solder over to have 'em "stick".

Seems the part numbers follow a good pattern too, just like the old fashioned stuff... Here's one..

ERJ-3GEYJ330V

Important part is the 330, 33 + (no/0 multiplier) = 33 ohm. You should be able to find the right value.

Ok, so they're switching power supplied, If irc , switchers require a load, so loaded it up, got a usable scope trace. The man was right, BIG GAIN problem, the response is all over the map. I think the gain is so great BEFORE the chip, its in and out of protect mode 3-400 times a second. Is that possible???

I did get a stable 30.56 volts with an 8 ohm load at 3, 567 hz. didn't last long and had to be on the sig generator output to keep it there. I think I'll bypass the input buffer and try again.

Power= voltssquared/ resistance
Power= 30.56x30.56=933.31/8= 116.74 watts.
