Yep, gotta get more outputs in before bias is right. Ok, now, go directly into the AC mains, check DC offset on both channels...
 
Put another row of outputs in and bring it up on the variac and DBT, if all good, go straight to AC mains and adjust bias, bias should be around 350 mv. If all ok, put in the next row, etc...taking a shower, I'll check back...
 
DC offset staying the same with second row installed. Bias around .315 both channels however now I have a problem. I cannot find the mica T-03 insulators I bought. i ave looked everywhere and I am afraid I have thrown them out in an old box while cleaning up. I have enough to do one more row.
 
Ok, do that row and call it good, after you have the 3rd row in an checked on n dbt and variac, check on ac sins and see if it will bias up to 350 and check DC offset one more time..lol check back when I get up at 5...
 
Third row pulling 0.05 A at 120VAC . Only warmed up a few min . Left C at .365 Bias. Right C. at .377 bias.
DC Offset Left C. 12.1 mV. Right C at 1.0 mV. I like that. Have a good sleep. i am hitting it too. 1:50 AM here. Thanks again. How many thanks can I give. No shit, I really do appreciate you helping me like this.

Glad you like the numbers, I sure do. Got 200 T-03 insulators (Mica) on the way from Texas. I will not run out again in this lifetime. I am going to pull 4 from another amp that croaked here in just a bit if I cannot find any others and get them ready to install as per your instruction.

No reason to use a used mica insulator, playing Russian Roulette there...
 
OK, what should I do. Stop at three rows. Just leave it there until you tell me what parts are best to order ? I have no problem with that I want it right.
 
No bud, just wait for the new ones to get there, and you can put the amp on a set of speaks till then, just don't romp on it...
 
Is that even possible?? Sabbath at low levels??????????????????????
