Russ' 700B Wopl

Glen, with the new chassis we can standoff at least another 3/4"...

All over but the testing and shakedown....
Great. I got mine at 1-5/8 high, so probable leave the ones I did alone. I was doing it just to allow extra air between the board and backplane.

Much better, not GREAT, but less than half of what I started with.....

Joe , that was in "Level" mode, there are no filter options in "Level" mode. However, in Amplitude/Noise mode i can switch in Band Pass filters, Bandwidth Limiting Filters and Weighting Filters......I did not do that.........yet.....

You usually kick in the 30KHz filter. Noise in the 30-80KHz spectrum is interesting but not very relevant.

To be consistent between us, is that the filter you use for checking residuals??

I check with 30KHz on Lee but also look with the 80KHz filter as information only. I also measure with the HP3478A which has a 100KHz bandwidth for correlation. At these low levels, cables, shielding and proximity are contributors.

Russ is gonna be tickled with this one. Been hammering on it for a good 20 hours.....left it on all night, starting to sound really good.

I wasn't playing music while asleep Doug, 28 hours on, 20hours play time....

While Justin Case's 400 is getting shook down we'll take the final measurements on Russ' 700 and get it gone Monday....
