Hi Joe, pleased to report the amp operates perfectly. And odd note, when I first fired it up with music at about 85db, I had a "ghost signal" showing on the right LED meter together with some mild clipping. After about a minute, it went away, and has not returned. I should get a scope some day. LOL. Thanks for your guidance, I learned a bunch about the ground paths on these units. PS here is a picture of the signal that went away.

The relay board install procedure attempts to eliminate ground loops for the stock driver board. The stock version has the signal ground and output ground shared. That saves at least two or three cents worth of wire. It is assumed that upgrading to the W/O control board uses the W/O procedures.
