Pics of your Favorite Cassette Tapes

Thank you, Daren and Miles. It's a treat to be able to participate in something I love to do so much: listening to music, experiencing something new from all over the world, honing my recording skills, sharing with others, and watching this taping community grow!

I cannot argue with that.

One day I'll make #100.

I can't even remember where I got up to - I think it was somewhere in the mid 80s...

Nice group shot! #87 was the last one I received from you, Daren.

I have managed to replenish my stock of Sony GIG-1 60 sealed blanks...

... but this pile has gone down considerably since last year:

Now that autumn will face us and the days becoming shorter rapidly I certainly will have more time to finish some projects that I've promised to do.

@Nando: I'm nearly finished with my Jan Akkerman mixtape for you, and I will record it on a new Sony HF for you in combination with dolby C.
There's another tape waiting here as a surprise for your brother, but to reduce the shipping costs I will send it to you as one package.

It's feeling like the good old days when reading all the latest pages of this thread.....

Yes, autumn is a time where I begin spending a bit more time indoors; most of that time spent recording or playing mix tapes or new music I have added to the stock.

Miles: I have about six tracks recorded to the MiniDisc Master for your mix tape. Probably another ten tracks to go before I am happy with what's on it. Then the recording onto cassette begins, which is the easiest part of the session. I have a cool drum solo which will be part of the mix. It's one I am hoping you haven't heard.

A Sony HF with Dolby C is great. I look forward to receiving it along with Chris' tape.

I thought so, knowing this is one of your favourite combinations.

While mixing I discovered that so much GOOD stuff was left to be "unheard", so I switched to record it on a 90 minutes for you.....

We are in the wrong thread with this conversation I guess, but who cares.......

I would say both threads, this one and "Your Latest Mix" are tied to the Hip (Tragically Hip unashamedly plugged). One doesn't go without the other. Keep those cassette tape images coming.

Nando.
