Pics of your Favorite Cassette Tapes

Are you interested in a mix tape swap, Jim? I can record a copy of my 7" 45 RPM project onto a TDK ferric cassette for you.

Nando.

Perhaps; let’s see how this comes out.

After my first cup of coffee I did some arranging of songs and a bit more trimming.

Does anyone remember Memorex with the swing away protective case? Don’t see any of those…

These cases are cool, the tapes way less.
A memory:
Memorex tape in the under- dash Radio Shack cassette deck of my 1971 Ford Pinto, playing DEVO’s “Freedom Of Choice,” when the timing chain on the engine broke. Every time I hear that album I remember being stranded 30 miles from home.

not sure if that SF with blue shell is specific to a market zone, i.e. Europe...
for sure, I remember those quite well because I happened to buy a couple back then... should still have them in the box which contains my own old home recorded tapes.

And, if I am correct, in USA the SF tape was called SD.

SF is, I think, the only TDK tape with dark blue shell instead of classic black.

Wait until I start to record a tapes :blob5:

The blue/green SF is for the Japanese & European market.

Always loved that color.

And the equivalent for the US market is the SD in a black shell.
