phase linear 400

good morning...
mr. joe...i got in the resistors today...
after installation i can bring it up without q7 and q8??
if memory serves...tgey are safeties??
i have right side populated...
and will add 1 row at a time and check the left side??

Yes, Q7 and Q8 are not required for normal operation.

no sir....has not showed up....
today, i received the resistors ... they are installed ....
i then populated the left channel a row at the time....
on of the last ones i got too tight....dbt would not dim....
retorqued them all....and all is well on the russian front....
i set the bias on both channels after a few minutes of warm up....the right channel was pretty much on the spot as i set it last time....
absolutely slick....the dc protect board is functioning and i can watch the blue led come on/off and see the relay engage/disengage
i did not hook it up to see if it will play....thats not easily done....and in a day or two...i will have to undo it again....
maybe i will hook up to my throw away test speakers thru bluetooth preamp....and see...
but, i am confident all is well in denmark and costa rica as well!!!!
 
well, i went and hooked it up with the temp bluetooth preamp....
and my sacrifice speakers....
we made beautiful music together...
just waiting on the two transistors to button it up for good....
what a trip!!!!

its already been cleaned and waxed....even came with the screen protector on it...
i used it to check the bias....lol
really nice...seems 100 percent....does not look abused or neglected....
got lucky!!!


and btw...

i installed the two transistors....checked for dc....checked bias....
put it back on line....
listening to my complete....aint gonna mess with no more....

will start cutting mdf tomorrow....
it was very expensive....i cant believe....
115 dollars for 2 sheets......3/4 x 4 x 8
almost 50 percent more than when trump was president....along with a lot of other things...
91 dollars last time...but that was 1 inch....
sometimes i am just not thankful enough...

I dropped my Meter hundreds of times and still works ;)
Glad it back together and working.
What Ohms are your Speakers?

You got the transistors from the dirty underwear inspectors already?
