If you have wiring errors, and the wire bundles are all zip tied...... Cmon man....
Pretty sure you asked George.Gene, I believe Steve has found a wiring error and did a great job identifying it. I think there's two ways to wire these backplanes. Run long wires from the right backplane, or "daisy chain" the right backplane to the left with short pieces of wire.
Thought about asking Joe about this several times, but never got around to it.
you know....i wondered about that...and i think maybe i know why....Gene, I believe Steve has found a wiring error and did a great job identifying it. you got it boss man....Slow down and check all your wiring. One at a time and bounce it off the docs..... That would be a catastrophic failure and I'll have to hit you with the other Marvin the Martian pic..... The dreaded:

i see....THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SPOTTING THAT....Gene
Not talking about the Fuses, I think you wired to the output and should be wired to the Input.
man....i just had a mini stroke...
i was looking over my wopl in the other room....with the main rig in the sala playing kitty, daisy, and lewis...at a nice volume...
when i heard an amp scramble....my heart hit the floor....NOOOOOO....
ran into the den....when i heard daisy say....
hang on a minute....we are experiencing technical difficulties with the bass amplifier....
i need to fo change my underwear....
you got it boss man....
i am trying, trying...
i see that music man caught one....wow....
how in the hell do i miss this stuff....
well, i did....so...i will fix it tomorrow...
and i reran that black wire as you wanted it mr. george....
yes sir mr boss man...i am not in a hurry...cant finish till i get the bias transistors from joe..Seems like you are working morning noon and night on your amp and that can be a big source of mistakes. Limit yourself on the time you work on it, give your brain a break. I still say you are in a hurry. I can only imagine the stuff we CAN'T see, like the underside of the back planes. Pray pray PREY!!!

maybe obsessed would be a better word..
there are many pics in this thread...here are two more...
no doubt...Obsessed, in a hurry, the results can be the same.
Those pics don't show the wires coming through the back planes. The solder side of those boards are the most important.
now that is cold....

rechecking wires this morning...
i was right...
left and right fused b-_in and fused b-_in are NOT the same...according to the docs...
i dont think i missed this time...lol
according to my docs..i am not wrong...but it looks strange to me...Gene, I believe Steve has found a wiring error and did a great job identifying it. I think there's two ways to wire these backplanes. Run long wires from the right backplane, or "daisy chain" the right backplane to the left with short pieces of wire.

Correct, there is too much congestion in the lower left hand corner of the LEFT backplane so the B-FUSED comes from the lower right corner instead to make it less congested. Those are equivalent points except for the silkscreen labeling.rechecking wires this morning...
i was right...
