Remove your meter signal wires from the back wall or backplanes. Connect the right meter signal wire to the red speaker jack stud that's screwed to the DCP, and the left meter signal wire to the white speaker jack stud that's likewise screwed to the DCP. I used a ring terminal for a #4 stud or screw(4-40), and 22 AWG Teflon insulated wire, black heat shrink and a small piece of red for right channel, white for left. The ring terminal goes under the screw head and contacts the trace and screw for the respective channels jack. All we're doing is changing the location of the signal wires from before the DCP relay, to after the DCP relay.before i turn off the soldering iron , george of the jungle....
will you tell me exactly what you did to connect your meters to the dcp board ???
i want to do that....when i first developed problems...and had dc on the outputs...
pegged the meters...i think that wont happen if hooked to dcp and it is functioning...
please....
