phase linear 400 voltages change

No , fuse was using in usa . It's a 1 amp 250v . I wsnt to use 220v then i need to replace a 0.0625 amp

Have you checked Mouser or Digi-Key? Where in Australia are you??

I will check mouser later today. Lee , I just confuses about PL14a PCB and PL400c what is different ? what I can said is 400c is give a sound quite better than pl14a which I have been use for long time .I was thinking to remove a PL400c board and swap around with my other amplifier got a PL14a on it. Do I need to change anything or I just change a PCB over ?

After I had been replaced a new AGX 8A , I can see fuse had been blow again and then it is burn out my speaker switch . I stop it on time and thank god my AR SPIRIT 162 is still alive. I don't know what is going wrong now. What is a first step I need to do to put it back to normal ???

You have a shorted output. Read the service manual section on how to check those...

You probably have some tired electrolytic caps and transistors on the PL14 board. They really shouldn't sound that different.

Before putting any speaker on a PL amp check for DC voltage on the speaker posts...

Many thank for yor help Lee. I will do a bit by bit to find out what is going wrong. This amp is good for me practice by following a service manual. Hihihi.

I had a very confuse to follow by a service manual cause i am nota very good electrical knowlege so may be i need your help Lee. I had open a filter cap and measure it but value is difference from a service manual . and i try to measure a BR but no value on measure come up . I just take a photo for you to have a look . please , let me know what i did wrong . I hope forum can have a topic with a instruction photo . If someone like me with a little knowledge can understand easily with a photo instruction.

Your meter can not measure capacitance. I am at work. On my phone so I have a very small screen. Do you know how to test semi-conductors??

Sorry to border you lee , i never done to do much on electrical item.i normally just mearsuee a diode only.I will go to buy a good measure multiple meter tomorrow. Thank lee

Chang, you are not bothering me. There will be sometimes I won't answer you because I am working. You are going to spend a LOT of money to get a meter that can EFFECTIVELY measure caps over 10,000uf. An alternative is to FORM the caps. Check out cap forming in the WOPL ARCHIVES section. If they pass the forming test they are good to go.

A semi- conductor is a transistor or diode. Do you know the basics of testing transistors or diodes?

Thank you for your help Lee , I just find out something not right to my board transistor . Maybe I took it to a service guy to have a look . I don't want to get more sinking to this problem . I can see some out put transistor is gone need to replace. What is a black week for me. It had blow all the fuse on the back I am surrender to solve this problem. It is out of my knowledge .
