Northwind's 400 to WOPL 500

bOUT TIME TO DO A SNAP-ON FAN BUILD THREAD i GUESS, they're damn easy to build.

I've used a computer fan controller, mounted in a 5 1/4" external drive box, to run a couple 12VDC fans. the controller has thermocouples that attach to the outputs or heatsink and ramp up the fans as the temp rises. The drive box has it's own 120VAC/12VDC power supply. The controller has a display to read temp etc. Find them on EBAY. Otherwise use 12 Volt fans and a 12VDC wall wart. for very quiet operation you can run the fans in series. If children with curious fingers won't be present remove the covers off of the outputs.

I wish the guy with my 1250 worked half as fast as you have on Rons WOPL. Looking great! I bet sounding great also..

Oh man, she looks beautiful!! Who's the little guy on the amp? He looks angry LOL

That's definately an improvement over what I'm using....

In all fairness the inside of a WOPL is deserted compared to a 1250...

I dig the Cave-Rabbid!!!

Pretty quiet eh? I won't hear them anyway LOL. How the neck would you hook them on and what controls them? A thermostat? Or can you run them on demand? Looks like they might fit right between the fins? Pretty cool (pardon the pun)!

Hi Ron,

Going to keep 'er simple. Use a wal wart for the power, and put a switch inline. Figure'd ya know when a serious mach 8 jam is begging you to let loose with her.:headbang::headbang:

Man... Dire Straits/Telegraph Road sounds just majestic! :glasses8::smokin:
