Great job, I'm loving my WOPL's 6 years or so strong...and I agree, the blue LEDs will look better. Check it out, sorry for the focus. It's a snapshot.

No, he did not and he knows better. Mark, you remember Dave, we got into some great discussions about transformers..

Sorry, been off restoring 2 PL-4000's and the PL 500 tuner in the pic. I'm a glutton for punishment... those PL-4000's were an insane amount of work; don't advise it. The 700b amp on the left is the one that just got completed, #2 on the right is waiting on the wings... powered on for the light show only, lol. Went back to the OEM bulbs just to match the lights on the tuner and my OCD.

I'll start up another thread once I get to the other amp. Off to roll some speakers.

Nice setup. Question on volume controls - do you turn the PL-4000 up all the way and control volume with the PL700B controls? Or, do you set the PL700B controls to a reasonable (not your 'reasonable' Lee) level and then control the volume with the PL-4000?

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark - I've settled (for now) with the amp controls at 75%, and use the pre to control the volume. So for "quiet" listening at night, I can almost get away with it (the -20 db switch helps as well). But, for rocking out, just crank up the pre. Cheers! Dave
