New build for shop system

Nice work on your speakers. Good to see friends pitching in to build them. I wouldn't mind sitting in on your first demo.

When I think of sub-woofers, this is all can conjure up:

Nando.

Friend Scotty making some trim rings this evening. Got the last cabinets ports glued in and put a radius on the three whose ports were dry. Got a few friends coming by this evening for some food and beverages, will probably paint the faces of the three that are ready.

More speaker lubricant no doubt..

Yeah there’s a few containers flowing already!

Some snow left still, a good bit in the woods still too

Scotty “captain router” really came through with trim rings tonight. All right for the big cabs, two for the low max. Just have to run a 1/4” rad around them but it’s speaker lubricant/ homemade pizza & wings o’clock. Darcy that painter got into the speaker lubricant and self inflicted himself to sleep hours ago!

It really doesn't register how big those boxes are till someone is beside them...

They’re bigger than a refrigerator less the freezer!

Trever made up a quickie router table jig that fits in his tablesaw. Made quick work of rounding over the trim rings. I think shelf construction happening this afternoon.

Throw some gold leaf on those trim rings (Miles can show you how!) for maximum bling.

Shelf... DONE! BIg thanks to buddy Randy, Connor “the human forklift” and all the rest of the b’ys made it an easy job.

I've been guetting the LED shop lights and they are pretty awesome. I bought two to light up my watch repair bench in the cellar and only ended up using one- they are that bright. AWESOME!

That’s what I was thinking to get. Cheap ad bright! Crapazon has them I think.

Painting the face boards today, taking advantage of a nice day to do a few outside jobs before dark though. Just got my old buzz saw out of storage. Got some standing dead spruce to take down and will probably block it with the old tractor and saw for a laugh in the next week or two.

Ready for assembly and landing home on the shelf. Trim rings need paint but they can go on once they’re in place. Should have a listen to the full deal before the weekend is out. Gotta fabricate some forks for muh little John Deere to lift them up. Connor’s my friends “largest son” but I think we should use mechanical advantage to get these bad boys in place...
