Spencer, this link may help you get that female connector out. Never seen any of these high $ MS turntables first hand. Anyhow, this is how the AR guys do it. I'll be doing my AR-XB sometime soon using this technique.

Thanks George, that is similar but unfortunately the connector on mine is down in the tube and heavily glued. I have some de-bonding stuff that I am going to try but confidence is low that it will work. If I could figure out how the arm tube attaches to the main body then i could push it out from the inside but so far I have not figured that out.

Long story short, major life changes, confusion and general chaos took me away from this great community. Never lost my passion for audio but I had to put it on hold while trying to find my way.
I haven’t done any audio projects for a couple years now and so I thought finishing this one would be a good start to getting back into it.
After reviewing where I was with this, I decided the dual arm project was a little too ambitious for the time I have available, so back to the original idea.
Lee, your Black Widow has been waiting patiently for this day and I have to say it does not disappoint.

What's the cart?

The cart came with the Widow from Lee.
I don’t have the specs in front of me right now, maybe Lee remembers? It calls for 1.5 g tracking force which is close to the limit of 2.0 g of the Widow. This version of the BW can use a silicone or oil dampening bath system but I haven’t tried this yet. When I get off shift I will post the cart specs.

I'm curious because of the ultra low mass of that tonearm. I almost bought one years ago to use on my Wrek o Kut but didn't......

The silicone damping system is worth using IMO, I have the KAB one on my Technics and and have an Audiocraft tonearm that has it too.

Lee, with just a basic setup and just running through the stock Carver test system, I was really impressed. I just set the overhang, set the tracking at 1.5 and the ant-skate at 1.5 and dropped the nail. Wow, crisp, clear, good channel separation and excellent tracking. I have a second BW arm and base that I bought for a backup or possibly the dual arm mod because I lost confidence in the Micro arms. Dual BW’s would be sweet, lol.

Not that I remember Lee but that was a long time ago and i have slept since then, lol.
During that faze I was collecting cart's like a mad man, so I will have to dig around. Do you think it was also a Acutex or something else?
