Maxell or TDK?

I was also a fan of the JVC V Series cassette decks, anybody have one? I think the one I have in the garage is a V22???

622, Ron?

By the way, I can restore order via massive depression by flooding the forums with Andy Gibb and Kenny G videos, fear me, denizens :pottytrain5:

Fear not Kenny or Andy, for I have the power to make them disappear!!!

I'd say the MX depicted here could challenge and win against any TDK metal ... or a TDK anything for that matter.

... I M H  of course.

Yeah maybe, but those TDK MA-R's and MA-XG's just really give me a woody with their "Heft" LOL. Man, back in the day I treasured that ONE MA-R I spent 20 something bucks on back in 85-86'ish...

(lol.. talking about the 80's like they were the 60's.. I'm getting damn old.. :bigsmurf:)

I remember the 60's........but not much of the 70's.......I turned 15 in 1970.....that might explain it....

Well certainly, based on build structure, those TDK's were beastly.
Even the MA-XG's that were green & black composites are stunning to see & touch.
Yeah ... wood ... that pretty much sums it up !

But on recording/playback performance the MX kills them ...

Hey! Our new member not only looks in regularly (so he's immune heh heh) but he's USAF retired...

Dive in, we love military aircraft, pilots and their crew around here!

Our crew is MOTLEY, but we're groovy.

Rome, NY was home to Griffiss AFB from 1942-1994 and transferred to civilian use.

I was brought up in the flight path of all those B-52's that flew night and day during Vietnam.
A little town called Marcy.

Thanks, Miles. That was a tape you recorded for me many moons ago. Of course, I would be interested in any of your upcoming projects. The TDK SA-X tapes are very good. I don't think we ever exchanged any tapes recorded on Maxell, before.

Nando.

He's already got a shot of that runway approach next to a public beach IIRC. That one is a trip.

Hey Web, Wikipedia says Delta flies to and from there at Minneapolis-St.Paul...

You could take a trip like FF and hunt the wild bikini.
