Correct Lee. Most designs do not allow for the space needed for a real cap to do this job.

Lee....I do not need more gear. I am glad that you got it. I probably would not have pulled the trigger anyway, but I am thrilled that you got it. I want to hear all about it. There will be another one coming down the pike. I'll find one, if they are as wonderful as it appears. I need to sell about 5 or 10 preamps before I buy another one anyway..

You have to report on it though..and you never know...Joe may have something in the works...

I hadn't heard about the brand, but after Joe's recommendation I did a little digging and up one popped. I'm glad someone here will be getting use of it.
