Now where's the pic of tin foil wrapped fuses to round out that monstrosity?

Aluminum foil wrapped fuses don’t sound good. We use copper tubing now.

Well, Linda is finally getting her turn on the bench.
Started stripping down the chassis. Clean up shouldn't be too bad. Other than dust bunnies and residue from an apparent KABOOM somewhere along the line it's not in horrible shape.
Tested the transformer after I got it out, voltages look good;

Secondary A = 61.7vac
Secondary B = 61.8vac
Secondary C = 5.87vac

Only thing concerning me is the varnish flow on the transformer. Must have been run pretty hard for a while to do this I think.

Should I be worried?

Only thing I see as weird is at the upper left hand bolt hole. Has a lamination shifted, or is it just a digital aberration?

It's the angle. I did a double take when I saw that too.

Holy Fucking Shit!!! Rode hard and put up wet doesn't even begin to describe what that thing has been thru. Without jumping to the end, I hope you plan to gut it and do a full WOPL on her. Doesn't look like anything in there is worth keeping other than the chassis and xrfmr.
