Just seeing this.. and I'm well.. wow. Now I've been known to do a few Frankenstein moves myself, but nothing compared to THAT. Those caps.. damn that just gave me a complex LOL..

Now where's the pic of tin foil wrapped fuses to round out that monstrosity?
I'm thinking behind fuse cap number 1...or number 2...or number 3...

Well, Linda is finally getting her turn on the bench. 20240221_123906.jpg
Started stripping down the chassis. Clean up shouldn't be too bad. Other than dust bunnies and residue from an apparent KABOOM somewhere along the line it's not in horrible shape.
Tested the transformer after I got it out, voltages look good;

Secondary A = 61.7vac
Secondary B = 61.8vac
Secondary C = 5.87vac

Only thing concerning me is the varnish flow on the transformer. Must have been run pretty hard for a while to do this I think.

Holy Fucking Shit!!! Rode hard and put up wet doesn't even begin to describe what that thing has been thru. Without jumping to the end, I hope you plan to gut it and do a full WOPL on her. Doesn't look like anything in there is worth keeping other than the chassis and xrfmr.

Good luck with her whatever you decice!
