Do they show changing wire points on the caps when you change voltage?

Nope. Just on the outside of the motor you change a couple of wires on your hook up. Nothing on the cap. Plus I have put the wires on the caps every way I can. LOL Yes I'm laughing now. Hope I am tomorrow.

Ok, it's being shipped directly to you from Baldor's New York distribution hub via UPS, that particular motor has been discontiniued. the new ones have a conduit box and NO thermal cutout in the windings. 2 day delivery.

It is cap started right? Guess I better get the gear puller before it gets here. Have some things that have to be pulled. LOL

All single phase 1 HP motors that are dual voltage have caps, they don't stand a chance without em.

cerrection------ALL MOTORS SPC"D FOR PUMPS HAVE CAPS, not fan motors.

So is it the right one or not? You guys kill me with this stuff, do you talk on the phone and make sure this stuff will probably work before you buy? I'm just curious, this whole thing is a nightmare :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Me thinks Larry will mount a fan blade on the motor to keep himself cool while working on his deck. Yeah if you flip the blade around it will blow instead of suck. Or you could try to get the motor to reverse directions without blowing it up. :cyclops:

Motor here. Puller here. Everything torn apart I think? May have to pull the front of the motor. Got to hot in the noon sun. As far as I go today. To hot to work with the doors open. To cramp to work with them down.

Motor on. Pump right beside it. Wiring? I think I'm right ; but I don't want to fry another motor. Need wire nuts and tape to finish.

That was to easy. LOL Plus I have to make sure rotation is right.

It was to easy. Every thing just fell together. I should go to Lowes so I don't have an excuse not to wire it. It is different than the other one. On this one I have wires and the other one I swapped plugs around. They always told me. If your scared say your scared. I'm scared. LOL
