Well I have been here looking at vacuum pumps. When I got the vanes from Orion. They were shorter. So I said I'll give them a try any way. Now I have to tear it apart and measure the other vanes I left in that were still good. That is a job for tomorrow. So yes there is a leak. An internal leak. I just want to cuss right now. Now I hope I can get the right ones.

Just an update. I found the right ones. I will be buying them today. I think I have another 1000 shells shipping today. The place that sent the wrong ones want to make it up to me. BS. I sent them an email Monday saying they were the wrong ones. They finally call me yesterday. The other place called me within 3 hours saying they have them. So I will buy them today.

Well I took it a part. Some vanes were stiff. Worked them a while. I am getting .7 bars now. I was only getting .2 w/o a load. Today I go back in and do it over again. With 2 new vanes. Plus seal some areas with RTV. It should be maxing the gage with no load on it.

LOL I was going to start pulling her apart and doing some other things. LOL It is still dark out. So I watered the flowers and tree. Can't use a dead blow this early. LOL

It is getting better. It is at .9. So I am letting it run, Let the vanes work and seat them selves in. We are getting there. Let it run w/o a load for awhile. Then plug her up and see what happen. LOL

Not blowing it is sucking. I'm at .9 bars. Should be pegged with it being a closed system I'm using to trouble shoot.

I never did understand that, when getting blown it is always bette rif they suck. :mrgreen:
