This pump new is about 5 grand. You and my wife should get together till she heard 5 grand. Then she said you better just fix this one.

Nope. Every thing looks copacetic. It does get hot. I tested the cap on the meter. It was dead on. Will know more in the morning. Take the motor off and put it by itself together and see what happens. If I can start it by turning it by hand then I got a bad Cap. And I will be upset. LOL

Because I just bought a new 250 volt and if the new cap is bad and I have been tearing that thing a part all day. I'm going to be a little wore than warm under the collar.
