I think it does not matter. A lot of us use E-Snipe and the computer bids it up the last 6 seconds. Your fingers can't compete with the computer. I win most of my stuff using E-Snipe.

I still use bidnapper....unless they've been bought by someone in the last two years...

One day left on the PL400 Ebay auction and it is now up to $128.99. My theoretical limit is $150 because he wants $50 for shipping. I could up the bid now and see if it scares others off, or I could lurk until the end and then bid like a crazy person.
Thoughts?
Snipe for sure....I have had good luck manually sniping with 7 seconds left....that gives a couple seconds to process and hope your internet connection doesn’t buffer

Lee and Geegz, 2 hours left and still at $128.99. It's gonna be close, 29 watchers.

Say, what are you using for a dummy load these days? I'm looking at Mouser #71-RBSF15008R000KG1A and they have (2) in stock.

I had (2) 500W 8 Ohm wirewound resistors, once upon a time.

Looks like the amp price just went up with 30 minutes left. If ya don't win, save your money and score a 700B/II. Your options are wide open then. You won't need a mule.

I didn't win and the PL400, it went for $257.50. Not a bad price for an amplifier that doesn't work, but more than I have available right now.

Even Mouser remembered me from 2013. Had a cart waiting with a few PL14_20 Rev A parts in it. So nice to be remembered. You guys have made this transition so wonderful for me, I feel like I am among true friends again. Thanks for everything you do, and thanks for welcoming me back.

Lee scored the one from PL and I had to settle for James Bongiorno's Personal Load bank (Marantz, Dynaco, SAE, SUMO Electric, Great American Sound Company (GAS). Gotta have a good one or you'll be dialing 411 to get the number for 911 :)

Glen made his out of a surplus nuclear reactor from an old polish submarine (complete with Polish sausage cooker), and his will take a half a bajillion watts but you gotta wear SPF-300 or your face will peel off :)
