Put in the order for four. -Can't wait for the progress pics. Extremely nifty business model you got going. I'm willing to bet PL lovers will be swarming you soon for this. :)
And I'll bet there's a market for just the faceplate with working meters to hook up to a computer as shown in one of the pics. Lot's of folks like unusual art pieces that function to impress their friends.

Very nice stuff TMZ2!!

Thanks and yes I've had quite a few people tell me that they bought plates of mine that didn't have the receivers just for the artwork for the wall, got a love it :)

My PL400 Display.
I took 10 12v DC LED's and put 5 in each meter. I use an old phone charger for power supply. I also added Vellum/Diffuser Paper to soften the bright LEDs. I think it worked out pretty good ?
Very nice looking Tony. Nice job.

Beautiful faceplate TMZ. Would you share the video link that Lee's referring to?

Not sure if all of you have seen this but I thought it would be a cool replacement for PL meters. The builder is in Romania and I've swapped a couple of emails with him. Sounds like he could do a custom size but his tone isn't all that anxious. Maybe something lost in translation.
A couple of issues would be the power supply driving his display may generate some internal noise and this is a frequency display and not a power level display. Looks like there's some customization available for the opening credit and colors used also.
From what I can tell it doesn't look like an Arduino board but I'm not all that knowledgeable about those things. These were available on eBay last year for around $100 each.

Whatever you think of it.... it's really cool looking!

I'm not sure if you guys remember a previous link I posted to a Youtube video for this guy's RTA display. Thought it would look nice in a Phase Linear if the size and electronics are right. WELL... He's at it again with a DIGITAL LCD DISPLAY VU METER. Very cool and after you watch this you'll know as much as I do. I posted a question in the Comments section asking him about the size and connections,
