Double WOPL with Squeeze Builds by TheWiffer

Yeah, it's still attached to the Transformer. I think there is about 4 or 5 wires coming out of the transformer cover and attach to the strip left to right. I just mounted it to the new chassis. but the wires were melted. I still have the second one sitting on the bench. I may be able to make out wire colors. I'll look when I get home.

With the amp on its back and the strip on the left, the furthest two wires should be the 6 volt wires.

Yep. The AC mains in goes there along with the primary wires. That bridge we will cross when we come to it. There is a much better way to run the AC portion of the wiring than what was originally done. It's takes a bit of splainin. ...

You guys "F"ing rock !!! Just read this whole thread looking damn good !!! and all the help you're getting is top notch I can see. I would love if I could possibly get you a couple plates that fit this build better without those holes maybe we can figure something out send me a message when you get a chance and thanks for the compliments about the plates.. Tony

Lee, I see the 2 smaller gauge wires going to the little strip by the Transformer (looks to be tan originally or burnt white), they are the 6.3 volt wires for the LED board. Do I need to take precautions with noise induction when I run these to the front of the amp? I have some shielded wire I can use and keep them away from the rest of the circuits.

No, they go north(up) around the top of the chassis and then down to the light board. There will be no low signal stuff going over the top. Run your AC feed for the DC protect in a shielded pair up and over.

I have documented a few builds where the wiring is pretty well presented, just may have to wade through a few...

Do the AC wire for the DCP need to come off the rectumfier as in Dons drawing or can I just run them off the strip since its electrically the same?

I have been through piles of post's and will continue... There are a lot of them. Belay that last post, it's not the same I see. Had to look again.

Different voltage on the BR than on the strip. You need secondary AC voltage for the DC protect.

I love the Navy....they were good to my Dad , he was in the Air Force...

Sweeeeeet, just got my second WO kit (most of it I think, didn't open it).... Thanks Joe

700's coming out of the woodwork. Guess I had better get crackin. Hope my input RCA's show up soon.
