Double WOPL with Squeeze Builds by TheWiffer

I wasn't going to send 40 year old caps. We run 4 of them instead of one and they are .01uf400volt polypros...and we now try to run 50 amp BR'S instead of 25.
 
What else ya need bud? This will be going out in the morning.

Damn... Tony's faceplates are sweet!!!!!!!!! I want to put the black one on Silvara but I don't want to drill the faceplate for Jer's power switch LMAO!!!! I guess I will just save it until I can get the other one WOPL'd and not worry about a power switch at all. I use power/surge protection strips anyway
 
Yep, 400's too Ron. A larger rating in the same form doesn't hurt a thing...

Ron, I found some round 20 amp rockers that should come close to snapping into the hole where the original on off switch fit, the other holes I bought plastic 3/8 hole plugs which should look good. I was looking for a round blue illuminated switch but they were not high enough amperage and were oval. They would have looked nice with the blue LED's. Maybe we could have one of the guru's come up with a relay setup so we would not have to run hi current through the wimpy switches. Either that, or we get some face plates made with no holes and fit the on off on the side.
 
Don Imlay came up with a triac implemented switch. Give him an e-mail, he ca send you the schemo and part numbers. I built and installed one of his prototypes and measured for noise, there was none...

Series I 400s never had power switches Perry unless someone added one. Those plugs your talking about do look good! They are like the ones I am talking about. They are flush mount and slightly rounded tops right?
 
Oh, by the way, the tip on the 'magnetic-transistor-putter-inner' was brilliant, All my TX's were no sweat after that tip. I did try the tape on the end of the finger trick.... Not so much luck....

The depth on the heat sink channels is too deep for anything else than the MTPI tool method.
