Derek92994's 700 Ser II White Oak conversion

You would have to wade through the posts, but I believe the intention was to save money in shipping by Lee leaving the transformer out. Derek already has the correct transformer ready to be soldered in when the PL arrives to Australia.

I was getting nervous about those caps - they went to NY first for some odd reason. They're in Gillette now so all should be well. Open the box when you receive it - I put a couple of items in there for you.
 
Ok D2, we burned "Spike" and "Robot-o-Chan".....couldn't get "Corridor of Mirrors" ripped, so I couldn't get that burned...

I gathered that. I was just saying I was surprised Lee doesn't have a power supply built around a PL transformer already just for this sort of job.

Done, Jani got the book done, so we finished it up. D2, I have to hit the field tomorrow so it might be Wednesday before it goes....

Awesome!! Thank you Jani and Lee, I really wanted one of those books, great finishing touch to the amp, and something I can show audio enthusiast friends when they hear the amp. They may be ordering some amps from you in the future Lee, not something I can predict but think its likely once they hear this unit.

There's nothing worse than the wait!!! My pre got shipped out last Friday from Washington but won't be here till Thursday.. Its like hurry the hell up already!!!:shaking2:
 
It's usally not so bad! But when Ya have only left your house 3 times in 2 weeks the days drag on and you wish you had your PRE back...:violent1:

I'll be using my Pioneer VSX-9500s or VSX-D901s as a Pre-amp, I will have to purchase a better one soon.
