Don't know, acrylic lenses, soaking in WD 40...at least it's benign...

Take the meter cover off and wave it back and forth in front of tea pot while it's steaming, it will soften and come right off. Goo Gone works good, Goof Off is iffy as it's nasty shit and might discolor. Vinegar works also, breaks the bonds of the adhesive

Another admirable piece of work, Lee. As always, I like reading the results from your bench testing. Are you going to wire in a transformer for the bench test, then remove it before shipping?

Nando.

I think I answered my own question by looking back into the thread, Lee.

Nando.

Derek's amp came out looking real sweet. I like the wire discipline - damn good job Lee.

I love the new chassis - what an upgrade to replace a damaged one and later to build one from scratch. Too cool.

Nando, I'll jump the external power supply into there and get some distortion, SNR and crosstalk, and residual noise readings...

Thasnks Dennis....

Lee, the amp looks stellar, I can't thank you enough. Looks real heavy duty. Those results will be very interesting to see too.

Going to get some rest, back to work tomorrow morning =), Cheers Bud

Firstly, I'll just say, I'm not here. You are not really reading this. You're just imagining you are. OK?

Now, re: fuses D2, don't you dare. All this hard work, and excellence reduced to pass through a piece of wire not much thicker than a strand of hair? I will hear no more of it regardless of how good ANYONE's argument is...

About D2's up coming soldering skills being put to the test. It would be more practical to connect up some leads to wherever they have to go, to a small terminal block. Then D2 can just screw his flying leads on the x-former straight to the block. No solder necessary.

So there.

… your can all back to unimagining me now.

ps: really really REALLY nice work Lee.
