I agree with you there, Miles, black is beautiful. It is a tad late for you to be still awake. Don't have to work in the morning?

Nando, did you see what that Grand national X went for in the Scottsdale Barret-Jackson auction brought?

Very good-sounding, Lee, although this head phone amp is more suited to be hooked up to pro gear with balanced outputs. I'm just learning about balanced outputs/inputs.

Supposed to cut down on ground loops on long cable runs, and dealing with inducted BS along the way...

Thanks, Ben. I haven't experienced any noise using my cables, so I don't think I am going to get one of those transformer boxes.

Quality time on each photo!

How does this TD tribute sound on the Sony monster? From all the UX-S tapes I've used there's not a single one that let me down.

Btw; "Can't Sleep" was related to the track playing on my FiiO...

Miles: It is a Pyle Pro PHA-80. I haven't decided on a permanent place for it, yet.

This amp is meant for studio purposes and will power your AKG studio 600 Ohm like a charm!

I think your good old 240 needs some new earpads... (try the extra velours ones that came with your mkII, it will make a hell of a difference!)

Thanks, Miles. The Sony UX-S cassette suits the music well. I haven't played your TD Tribute tape in awhile, but sipping wine, while listening to your tape in the Sony TC-K950ES, was a great way to spend an evening. It's almost time for a repeat session, maybe even tonight.

Thanks for the tip on exchanging ear muffs, as I kept the velour ones packed away in the original packing box. I have been using the new K-240s more than the old pair this past year.

Broken beyond repair but highly affable
"I'll kick the tyres for you"? BBC's Top Gear gets by with and little help from a...

'Friends' star, in specific Matt Le Blanc, who has been on the show before in a 2012 segment where he showed his prowess and top speed in a 'reasonably priced car' has been announced as a member of the team in it's next season. Shooting begins in April.

I think it would have to do with clarity and dynamics.

I have some CD's that give me the heebie Jeebies quite regular......
If the music itself will give you the right feeling it doesn't really matter in what format it is.

Personally I've never understood the die hards that swear to the sound of vinyl only, I've always hated the thicks and pops (not to mention the dusty needle) that interrupted the music I've been listening to.
