Daren: I would never had expected a product like that to become successful. I'm sure I can get the same effect on one of my old tabletop open-reel decks moving the tape back and forth manually across the head.

Love the accessory that comes with the HC-TT:

"Shipped with one randomly selected old cassette tape."

It is encouraging to see magnetic tape still being mentioned Nando. It is possible that younger people not familiar with the format, may investigate further after seeing that 'device' in action.

Thanks for the link Ben. I'm not a big Floyd fan either but there is definitely something engaging about their work - the sound production being an obvious example.

A classic pair of headphones, Miles. I picked up a Pyle Audio headphone amplifier at the mini flea market last week. I can now hook up to eight headphones. You could probably use all eight inputs, right Miles?

Normally spoken... Yes, you can.

Do you have a type number?

I'll post pictures of it, later, Miles. I only hooked it up last night to test it, as I had to find the correct patch cord with a 1/4" male TS for input to the headphone amp to an RCA male outputted from my dbx router.
