Glad I still have some of the first edition from 1981:

The very first edition of the famous RUDE cymbals by Paiste, 33 years old and vintage now.

Strong, Rough, Agressive... (but most of all very Expensive..)

Just make sure your foot doesn't slip and waste your beer.

I was able to reach Sep this past Sunday. He happened to log onto TH at the time I was on and responded to my PM. He is working out of town and hopes to be back home, shortly. It will be nice to see him here, again.

Nando.

Glad to hear all is well. I miss him too. Perhaps espionage takes a lot of time..

Miles: Being a Digital Dissident means you have to take the good with the bad. I can't see you working up a pulse rate or a sweat hitting a keyboard during a jam with your band.

The Endless River..

I'm maybe one of the very first that had a intensive listen to the brand new album by Pink Floyd in high definition audio today:

First impression: Perfect audio quality, predictable music and a bit dull......

That sounds about right.

Then again, most (but not all) of their music makes me want to sleep anyway.

I understand that pre-release orders for this album are pretty stellar...

Mmmm.

Miles: Give me an idea of how it compares to Steve Rothery's "The Ghost Of Pripyat" for composition.

Those are two totally different things. The only thing that they have in common is the brilliant guitar playing.
The Ghost Of Pripyat is way more progressive, while the Floyd album sounds as expected. You can hear they used the "leftovers" for this album.
But without any doubt I can say Mr. Gilmour's guitar playing is excellent as always.
Nick Mason's contributions to this album are not worthy to mention it..., boring way of drumming as always.
