His sound is unique.

I think the whole vinyl revival is still far from over Daren.

Are we nearing a high point in vinyl again? Will we see a decline in the near future? or is this the beginning of a small rebound in the industry? Time will tell I guess.
 
I don't see really any change as far as popularity of records since the 80s, not a bit. The new stuff coming out keep the fans happy. It's all good and I don't see an end to vinyl ever. If the record companies stop producing, people will just hit the secondary market like they always have

As for the pig linked below, I don't see that selling to anyone for that price

Talk about crossed wires. A half dozen AKGs is more than I could handle. Miles: you have to remember to not getting carried away with drinking while recording and you wouldn't end up with such a rat's nest.

On a side note - did you get around to restoring the vintage Pioneer headphones?

Daren: Perhaps, the difference in popularity of vinyl is due, in some part, to the advent of the internet and people becoming involved in audio forums. I collected a few records back in the 70's to 80's, mostly new releases coming out at the time. Then, it wasn't until the past ten years that I began buying up older vinyl. With many of us members, here, sharing musical interests, I have had more exposure to bands I never had contemplated in the past. I've been resistive to buying new releases, or re-releases on current vinyl.

It's stored safely waiting for the parts needed to get them back to my standards.

As you've noticed I'm busy with several things and is also the reason for being online less frequently than I did in the past.
